Mumbai, Aug 7 : The BSE Sensex moved up by 41 points to 37,018.58 in early trade on Wednesday on gains in banks, realty and utilities ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy decision later in the day.
The NSE too rose marginally by 4.80 points to 10,953.05.The sensex registered intra day high and low at 37,066 and 38,885.48 pts respectively.
The NSE recorded intra day high and low at 10,970.20 and 10,913.40 pts respectively.
The gainers were Yes Bank by 6.38 pts to 90.85, IndusInd Bank by 2.28 pc to Rs 1448.65, Hero MotoCorp by 1.87 pc to Rs 2511.15 and Hind Unilever by 1.78 pc to Rs 1776.
The losers were Tata Steel by 3.02 pc to Rs 388.75, ONGC by 1.64 pc to Rs 129.30, M & M by 1.19 pc to Rs 542.75 and Axis Bank by 0.98 pc to Rs 672.20.
