Mumbai, Jul 31: The Rupee on Wednesday moved up by nine paise to 68.79 on selling of dollar from bankers and exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.
The local unit that slipped by 6 paise to 68.94 in early trade, recovered and ended positive at 68.79, advancing by nine paise as compared to its last close.
The Indian currency increased because of weak dollar against other world currencies and rebounding equity market, they added. The Rupee recorded day high and low at 68.95 and 68.76 respectively. (UNI)
