Mumbai, Jul 26 : The Rupee on Friday jumped by 15 paise to 68.89 against US Dollars on fresh selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that slipped by 10 paise to 69.14 in early trade, recovered and ended positive at 68.89, advancing by 15 paise as compared to its last close.
The Indian currency increased because weak Dollar against other world currencies along with rebounding equity market. The domestic unit registered day high and low at 69.13 and 68.88 points respectively, they added.(UNI)
