Mumbai, Jul 3: The Rupee on Wednesday rose by 16 paise to at 69.79 in early trade on selling of US Dollars by bankers and Exporters, dealer at Forex Market said.
The domestic unit rose in early trade on weak dollar against other world currencies along with positive opening in stock market, dealer said.
The rupee opened strong at 68.83 at the interbank forex market High fluctuation was seen during intra day session as it registered day high and low at 69.90 and 69.79 respectively.
On Tuesday, rupee had settled at 68.95 against the US dollar. (UNI)
