Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) The Rupee remained under pressure for the fourth day on as it tumbled down by 23 paise to 69.94 on brisk demand for US Dollars by importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The domestic unit that rose marginally by one paisa to 60.70 in early trade that fell and settled at 69.94, sliding by 23 paise as compared to its previous close.
High fluctuation was seen during the day as it registered day high and low at 70.03 and 69.82 respectively.
Firmer dollar against other world currencies and negative equity market kept the Rupee down, they added. (UNI)
