Mumbai, Feb 7 : The Rupee on Thursday advanced by ten paise to 71.45, one-week-high against the US Dollar on renewed selling of US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The domestic unit tumbled down by 19 paise to 71.75. Later, it recovered and finished positive at 71.45, gaining by ten paise as compared to its last close.
A major oscillation was seen during the day as it registered day high and low at 71.75 and 71.30 respectively.
The Indian currency surged on weak Dollar against other world currencies, however weak stock market capped from further gain, it added. (UNI)
