Mumbai, Feb 4: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday slipped by 145 points at 36,324.09 on profit booking by local operators at higher level.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too fell by 53.85 points to 10,839.80. The sensex registered intra day high and low at 36,456.22 and 36,273.67 respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,878.75 and 10,829.90 points respectively.The sectoral indices declined were Materials, Finance, Bankex, Industrials, Telecom, Captial Goods stocks.
The losers were Tata Steel by 3.79 pc to Rs 455.45, IndusBank by 2.77 pc to Rs 1475.60, Bharti Airtel by 2.09 pc to Rs 304.80 and Yes Bank by 1.97 pc to Rs 182.
The gainers were ONGC by 1.65 pc to Rs 144.40, Hind Unilever by 1.06 pc to Rs 1815.35, Bajaj Auto by 0.92 pc to Rs 2626.65 and Reliance Industries by 0.86 pc to Rs 1258.05.(UNI)
