New Delhi, Jun 3 : The Delhi Government on Wednesday made it mandatory for all asymptomatic passengers arriving in the National Capital to home quarantine themselves for seven days. Earlier, it was 14 days mandatory home quarantine period for all asymptomatic passengers arriving in the city.
"All asymptomatic passengers who enter/deboard in NCT of Delhi shall home quarantine themselves for 7 days (in place of 14 days of self monitoring of health..)," the order issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said. The National Capital on day three of the lockdown 5.0 broke all records of its single-day COVID19 infections spike as 1513 fresh cases reported in the past one day. The COVID contagion tally has now reached 23645 in the city after the sharpest spike, according to the state health bulletin. Death toll in the city has also past 600 casualties, and now stands at 606. (UNI)
