New Delhi, May 31 : The Delhiites on Sunday witnessed a rainy day, with maximum temperature settling at 34.6 degrees Celsius, six notches below the normal. “The rainfall recorded till 1730 hrs at Safdarjung station was 2.2 mm, 10.2 mm at Palam, 2.7 mm at Lodhi road, and 35.1 mm at Ayanagar,” the MeT department said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 20 deg C, seven notches below the season’s average. The relative humidity was pegged at 90 per cent till 1730 hrs. On Monday, there will be partly cloudy sky with a possibility of very light rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures would hover around at 38 and 21 deg C, respectively, on Monday. (UNI)
