New Delhi, May 21 : With 571 fresh cases in the past 24 hours, the Covid-19 tally in the National Capital rose to 11,659 on Thursday. According to the Delhi Government, there is an improvement registered in the total number recoveries, with the figure now at 5567, after 375 cases being cured and discharged since Wednesday.
Death toll has inched close to 200 on Thursday with the figure standing at 194, after 18 more people succumbed to the virus. According to the government data, cumulative tests done till date stand at 154385. Containment zones have reduced to 64 across the city after four areas were de-contained in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the number of COVID positive patients at present under home isolation are 2739, the government health bulletin said. (UNI)
