COVID cases in Delhi cross 7,500-mark, 406 new patients

New Delhi, May 12 : With 406 fresh cases, the total number of Novel Coronavirus infections in the National Capital crossed the 7,500 mark on Tuesday, while the death toll also increased to record 13 patients in a single day.

A total of 406 new COVID-19 cases have surfaced in the past 24 hours, taking the count to 7639, Office of the Delhi Chief Minister said. The figure includes 5041 active cases and 2512 recovered patients, the CMO posted on microblogging site Twitter. So far, 86 people in Delhi have lost their lives due to the pandemic. (UNI)
