New Delhi May 10: BJP MLAs in the national capital will meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday and submit a memorandum to draw his attention to the ever increasing cases of coronavirus in the capital, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said on Saturday.
"They (BJP MLAs) will put forward the poor condition of Delhi government hospitals, heavy increase in petrol and diesel prices and the faulty distribution of free ration to 72 lakh people of Delhi , in front of CM," Bidhuri said in a statement.
He said on Saturday that corona cases in Delhi are increasing rapidly. He further said that Delhi despite being in the Red Zone, the Aam Aadmi Party government decided to open liquor shops, following which the social distancing norms were violated. Bidhuri also claimed that there was a sharp rise in cases after opening of the liquor shops as people violated social distancing. Bidhuri said that due to the substantial increase in VAT in this time of crisis by the Delhi government, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased drastically. (UNI)
