New Delhi, May 7: A total of 428 fresh Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have surfaced in Delhi in the past 24 hours, taking the count to 5532, Office of the Chief Minister said here on Wednesday night. The figure includes 3925 active cases and 1542 recovered, the CMO posted on micro-blogging site Twitter. So far, 65 people in Delhi have lost their lives due to the pandemic.
Meanwhile, one more zone has been de-contained in Delhi on Wednesday. Now, the total number of containment zones in the National Capital are 87. The Zone which has been de-contained in Delhi on Wednesday is Gali Number 9, Pandav Nagar in East District. (UNI)
