Over 900 booked for violating lockdown: Delhi Police

As the national capital enters its second day of the lockdown, Delhi Police took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to urge residents to adhere to the lockdown.

The police further clarified that more than 900 people were booked on Monday under various sections of the IPC and Delhi Police Act for violating the lockdown.

Taking to Twitter, the Delhi police said: “Residents of Delhi are advised to strictly follow the #Lockdown directions. Yesterday, more than 900 persons were prosecuted by @DelhiPolice under various sections of IPC and DP Act for violating the #Lockdown”
