New Delhi, Mar 23: Amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday announced that the Ayushman Bharat Yojana will be implemented in the National Capital.
In his address, while presenting the budget in the Delhi Assembly, the Deputy Chief Minister said that in view of providing Rs 5 lakh insurance cover per family per year to the people, the Delhi government will implement the Ayushman Bharat and under the Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
Sisodia also spoke about various measures to be taken by the Delhi Government in the wake of the corona pandemic. Delhi government will provide Rs 7,704 crore for the health sector in next financial year, he said. (UNI)
