Health officials found that the 46 year old Delhi man, the fifth case of coronavirus infection in the capital, came in contact with 813 people. The man is currently under quarantine.
His 68-year-old mother, who was also infected with the novel coronavirus, died at a hospital on Friday night, the second death caused by the disease in the country.
He was found tested positive for coronavirus on March 12, when he landed at the Delhi airport after a trip from Italy.
The man who hail from Delhi’s Janakpuri is the patient with the maximum number of contacts. He arrived back in India after a work tour in which he visited four countries in Europe.
