New Delhi, Jan 28: BJP leaders in the runup to the February 8 Assembly polls on Tuesday directed their ire against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and flayed him for spending Rs 500 crore on advertisement and public relation exercise.
At an election meeting in presence of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan said Kejriwal's works can be evaluated by his 'fake promises' and false advertising.
"Kejriwal supported the 'tukde tukade gang' of Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid. He had also called terrorist Afzal Guru a martyr," Vardhan said.
In a tweet, the Minister asked Kejriwal to clarify stance on CAA or on issues related to files on pursuing the sedition cases against Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid in a 2016 case.
"You cannot be sailing on two boats....," the Union Minister wrote in Hindi. (UNI)
