New Delhi, Jan 16: Deputy Chief Minister and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Thursday filed his nomination papers from Patparganj Assembly constituency for the February 8 Delhi Assembly polls.
Mr Sisodia along with his supporters and party workers also took out a roadshow in his constituency and sought people's blessings as he filed his nomination. The process of nomination for the candidates which started after issuance of notification on January 14 will close on January 21.
The scrutiny will be held on January 22 while withdrawals of candidature will be allowed till January 24. The AAP on Tuesday declared its candidates from all 70 assembly seats. A total of 46 sitting MLAs have been given party tickets for the upcoming Assembly polls. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will contest from New Delhi seat. (UNI)
