New Delhi: In a spine-chilling incident, bullet-ridden bodies of two doctors have been found in a car parked at a desolate area in Sector 13 of Rohini in the Capital city on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Dr.Omprakash Kukreja (65) and Dr.Sudipta Mukherjee (55), according to the police sources. Police assumed that after the relationship gone wrong, the man allegedly shot the woman first before killing himself.

Both, Dr. Kukreja and Dr. Mukherjee, work in the same hospital. Dr. Mukherjee was also the managing director of the hospital. Kukreja was married and having an extramarital affair with a woman who wanted the doctor to marry her, and that demand might have led to the incident, police said. A senior police official said prima facie, it seemed, that Dr. Omprakash Kukreja shot Dr. Sudipta Mukherjee in the chest and killed her and then shot himself in the temple. Kukreja’s licensed pistol was reportedly used in the incident.

“The team is also looking if any note was left behind. Further investigation is underway,” said SD Mishra, DCP Rohini.
