New Delhi, Nov 5: The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) association on Tuesday condemned the attack on police personnel at the Tis Hazari Court complex and hoped the culprits are brought to justice soon.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the IAS association said,''We strongly condemn the cowardly action perpetrated against the police personnel at Tis Hazari Court. We stand by our colleagues in their time of distress and hope the culprits are brought to justice soon.''
Earlier, Delhi Commissioner of Police Amulya Patnaik appealed to the police personnel, protesting against the violent clash at the ITO headquaters, to maintain peace saying an inquiry into the matter has been initiated.
At least 20 policemen and eight lawyers were injured and 20 vehicles vandalised on Saturday, in a clash between lawyers and police at the Tis Hazari court complex over a parking dispute. (UNI)
