New Delhi, Sep 30 : Ticket booking for New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vandebharat Express is open now! Railway Ministry in a tweet announced that tickets can be booked for any journey commencing from October 5 onwards.
'Train will stop at Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana and Jammu Tawi,' the Ministry added. Vande Bharat Express between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will be flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 3, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said on Friday.
In a tweet, Mr Goyal had said, 'After running first Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi to the cultural capital of the country Varanasi, the second Vande Bharat train will be flagged off between New Delhi and Katra during the auspicious occasion of Navratri.'
This special train is entirely air-conditioned and has been designed in the shape of a bullet train. It will depart from New Delhi railway station at 6am and reach Katra at 2pm.
On the same day, the train will leave from Katra at 3pm and reach New Delhi Railway station at 11pm. It will stop at the same stations on the return journey. (UNI)
