New Delhi, Sep 30: AAP leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh on Monday criticised the BJP government at the Centre, questioning whether people were actually getting health services at private hospitals under the Centre's Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme.
Mentioning the Mohalla Clinics of Delhi, he said one should come and see how the treatment was being done and how the accidental policy works in the Capital wherein the state government bears all expenses of a patient's treatment.
Mr Singh hit-out at the BJP alleging that the same party which had inflicted violence on the people of UP and Bihar was now worried about the same people hailing from the Eastern India (Purvanchalis).
Meanwhile , Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari had hit-out at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal over his comment regarding the health services in Delhi where he said it was because of Delhi's better health services that a patient coming from Bihar and spending Rs 500 ticket with comfort availed of treatment free of cost which is otherwise worth Rs 5 lakh.
Kejriwal on Sunday took a dig at the Centre and the prevailing health schemes around the country and praised the health services available in the national capital.
Manoj accused Mr Kejriwal of having hatred towards people from Bihar and asked why Mr Kejriwal feels pained when a patient from Bihar or any other state gets treated in Delhi.
He said that the Delhi CM was allegedly humiliating people from other states by flaunting his government's health services. (UNI)
