New Delhi, Aug 18 : A 27-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of the approaching metro train at the Tagore Garden Station on the Blue line , the police said on Saturday.
The incident took place on Friday night at around 11pm following which there was a delay for a while in the services on the Blue line.
The police received a call regarding a person being trapped between the train and the platform at Tagore Garden metro station on Friday night at around 2300 hours.
The deceased was identified as 27 year old Rahul, who was a resident of Najafgarh, while there was no suicide note found on him.
The body was further sent for post-mortem at the DDU mortuary , the police said ,adding proceedings under section 174 of the CrPc are underway.(UNI)
