New Delhi, Aug 6: Six people, including two children, were died while 10 others injured after a fire broke out at a residential building in South East Delhi's Jamia Nagar area in the wee hours on Tuesday. Seven out of the injured, including one child, are in the ICU. As per the fire department, the call was received around 2.30 am regarding the fire and subsequently, a total of eight fire tenders were pressed into the service.
According to locals, the fire had started from the parking area of the residential building, however, exact cause and facts are yet to be verified. The injured were taken to the Holy Family hospital. Five people were declared brought dead. It took around three hours for the fire department to douse the blaze. Further details are awaited.UNI
