New Delhi, Jul 12 : The first yatra under the Delhi Government scheme ‘Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana’ will be flagged off by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from the Safdarjung Railway Station on Friday.
The yatra will be flagged off at 1800 hrs.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Revenue Minister Kailash Gahlot will also be present at the flag off ceremony.
The yatra will cover Delhi-Amritsar-Wagah Border-Anandpur Sahib corridor.
The second tour on the Delhi-Vaishno Devi-Jammu corridor will be flagged off on July 20th.
Under the scheme, the Delhi Government will bear the entire expenditure for all yatris, including air-conditioned train travel, accommodation, meals, boarding, lodging and other arrangements. (UNI)
