New Delhi, Jul 5 : A major blaze broke out at the Director General of Health Services building in Delhi's Karkardooma area on Friday afternoon, which was brought under control by 1715 hours in the evening, while the cool down process was still on, officials said.
The fire struck the 6th and 7th floor of the building in the Delhi Health Scheme office, regarding which the fire department received a call around 1300 hours.
Around 22 fire tenders were on the spot to fight the blaze including around 60 fire fighters.
No casualties have been reported so far, while the cause of the fire is yet to be known and will be established post probe into the matter.The assessment of damage done will be known after the cool down and investigation into the matter.(UNI)
