New Delhi, Jun 22: A private tutor was arrested for allegedly killing his wife and their three children in South Delhi's Mehrauli area in the wee hours of Saturday.
All the three children-two girls and a boy- were minors.
The murder came to light when the accused Upendra Shukla's mother-in-law, who also stayed in the same house, knocked on their door to check on them. When the door was not answered despite repeated knocking, she informed the neighbours, who in turn called police.
During investigation police found a letter by reportedly by Shukla, saying that he was killing his family.
According to DCP South, the accused told police that he is suffering from depression.
He had allegedly used a knife to commission the crime. (UNI)
