New Delhi, Apr 15 : Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Sheila Dikshit on Monday reacted on the objectionable remark made by Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan against BJP candidate Jaya Prada and said action should be taken against him.
"This is highly condemnable. He owes an apology to women immediately. It's unacceptable, action should be taken against him," the senior Congress leader said while talking to media persons.
Addressing the media persons, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said,''I think some complaint has been filed against Azam Khan. Now it is upto Election Commission what action they take on this issue.''
The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Monday has also sent a notice to Mr Khan.
Mr Khan allegedly made the objectionable and sexisit remark while addressing a poll campaign rally at Rampur. (UNI)
