Margao, Apr 13 : Aam Adami Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of following models of Hitler's Germany and alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to occupy the post for life.
Speaking at an election rally at Lohia Maidan here, he said in 1931, Hitler became chancellor of Germany and after three months of occupying the post, he changed constitution and stopped elections.
"Until he died in second World War, Hitler was the chancellor of Germany. This is what the BJP wants to do in India now. This is the BJP's motive. 2019 is do or die election to save India and the Constitution," Mr Kejriwal said.
The Delhi Chief Minister also expressed apprehensions over comment made by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan over his Indian counterpart and alleged that something nefarious was being booked between Mr Modi and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
"What's cooking between Imran Khan and Modi. Just some days back there was such tension along the border, that both countries were heading for war and now Imran Khan wants Modi to be PM again," he said.
AAP has fielded candidates in both South Goa and North Goa Lok Sabha constituency. Lok Sabha elections in Goa are scheduled to be held on April 23.
