New Delhi, Mar 5: Reacting to the Congress decision not to have any alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in the coming Lok Sabha polls in Delhi, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal hit out at the grand old party alleging that when everyone wants to defeat the Modi government, the Congress instead was helping them by splitting the anti-BJP vote share.
Delhi Chief Minister's reaction was followed by the Congress announcement of steering clear of having any tie up with AAP in Delhi earlier in the day. He said there were rumours that the Congress has some secret understanding with the BJP and further added that the people of the city were ready to fight against the alleged Congress -BJP alliance.
''At a time when the whole country wants to defeat Modi- Shah duo, Cong is helping BJP by splitting anti-BJP vote. Rumours are that Cong has some secret understanding with BJP. Delhi is ready to fight against Cong-BJP alliance. People will defeat this unholy alliance,'' Mr Kejriwal said in a tweet.
AAP leader Gopal Rai addressing a press conference on Tuesday afternoon also said that the people now wanted to remove those who were forcefully imposing negative nationalism and were allegedly destroying the democractic system and involved in hate politics.UNI
