Thunderstorm likely to hit Delhi, air quality down to ‘very poor’

New Delhi, Feb 6: The national capital on Wednesday woke up to a cold morning with a cold breeze flowing through, while minimum temperature settled at 12 degree Celsius, three points above the season's average.

Relative humidity at 8.30 am was 100 per cent, said the weatherman, adding that the maximum temperature in the day is expected to remain around 23 degrees. According to the Met office, there is a possibility of thunderstorm with hail during the day.

However, air quality in the city was very poor, with an index value of 365 at 1100 hrs, as per the Central Pollution Control Board. The maximum temperature on Tuesday settled at 25 degrees. (UNI)
