Wanted criminal held in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 4: Delhi Police Special Cell has nabbed a criminal named Vinod, while another criminal managed to escape following an exchange of fire that took place in early hours of Sunday morning here, the police said.

According to police, the exchange of fire took place between the two criminals and police party, when the criminals were intercepted by the police they opened fire.

The incident took place around 4.20 am near the Gazipur paper market in East Delhi. More than a dozen rounds were fired during the shootout, wherein Vinod got injured and was nabbed by the police while Ashok Pradhan managed to flee from the spot due to darkness. (UNI)
