New Delhi, Sep 3: The Central Industrial Security Force on Monday nabbed a passenger with two live rounds at Indira Gandhi International airport here.
Around 6.05 am on Monday, during pre- embark security check at Security Hold Area of terminal-3, a CISF personnel detected two live rounds of .32 mm calibre from the hand baggage of a passenger.
The passenger, later identified as Ashok Kumar Sinha, who was bound to travel to Ranchi by Vistara Airlines flight, could not produce any valid document for the presence of live round in his baggage.
“The said passenger was taken to IGI Airport Police station and handed over to Delhi Police for further legal action”, the CISF said in its statement. (UNI)
