New Delhi, Sep 2: Moderate to heavy rains hit the national capital on Saturday, plummeting the mercury while leading to water-logging and traffic snarls in many areas.
The rain, which hit Delhi on Saturday morning, plummeted mercury in the city to 29.4 Degree Celsius, five degrees below normal. At the same time, it also threw the city out of gear by causing water logging and traffic snarls in many areas including Civic Centre, Minto Road, Civil Lines, Hanuman Mandir in Yamuna Bazaar area, Jangpura.
The other areas where traffic was affected due to water-logging includes Azad market road, near Bhajan Pura Police station and on Ring road behind Red Fort.( UNI)
