Raipur, May 15 : Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Janta Congress chief Ajit Jogi, who was hospitalised six days back following a heart attack, is still in a coma, and his condition remains critical. According to the medical bulletin released on Friday by Dr Sunil Khemka, Director of Narayana Hospital, Mr Jogi has very low brain activity and he is on ventilator support, though his heart, blood pressure and urine output are under control.
Audio therapy was also used to activate Mr Jogi’s brain function. Jogi was eating Ganga Tamarind while moving on a wheelchair in his residential premises on Saturday, the seed is said to have entered into his respiratory tract causing him to fall subconscious and precipitating a heart attack. He was immediately admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. 74-year-old Mr Jogi is currently an MLA from Marwahi seat in the state. (UNI)
