Raipur, Nov 11: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has ordered a probe into alleged illegal tapping of calls in smart phones of some people in the state.
Official sources have informed here on Monday that Mr Baghel took serious note of the complaints about smart phone tapping, describing it an issue of violation of the rights of the people. He instructed to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Home to look into these complaints. Inspector General of Police Raipur and Director, Public Relations will be among the members of the committee.
He said that the committee will submit factual report after conducting a thorough investigation into the matter in a month. Director General of Police will provide necessary support to the committee. (UNI)
