New Delhi, Jan 2: The Tata Sons on Thursday approached the Supreme Court, challenging the order of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), which reinstated Cyrus Mistry as the Executive Chairman of the company.
It is learnt that the petition may come up for hearing within one to three weeks. The NCLAT had invalidated the removal of Cyrus Mistry from the post of Chairman of Tata Sons, ordering his reinstatement. Tata Sons have called for a moratorium on Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) board meeting, to be held on January 9.
Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi also informed the NCLAT that Tata Sons have moved the SC, though the petition has not been listed yet for hearing. (UNI)
