The India SME Forum launches Telangana Chapter in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sep 28: The India Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) Forum has launched Telangana Chapter here on Saturday.

Chief Secretary Sailendra Kumar Joshi formally launched the Telangana Chapter. He congratulated for launching of SME-Telangana Chapter on the auspicious occasion of the Bathukamma festival.

Mr Joshi said, “ In a country like India, the traditional model of development when people use to look for the jobs perhaps is not sustainable in view of diversity and numbers. So the best opportunity is to encourage entrepreneurs and nothing better than that SME”, he said.

“Today we are developing entrepreneurs and its very heartening that the technology giant Intel has taken the step to mentor the people that is the future of the country because we are the one of the best human resources and best brains anywhere in the world. So this is the right time India should establish itself”, Mr Joshi added.

The India SME President and Venture Funding , Financing and Branding expert at India SME from Intel Vinod Kumar said that their journey was started in 2011. During the 9.5- year journey, India SME Forum spread in 20 states across the country including Telangana with the membership of 86,170.

“ The idea behind it is to take each and every SME India the possibility of growing their business succeeding and enabling them to be able to become change makers of the country in the future”, he added.

The India SME Forum-Telangana Chapter President and CEO, Crux Management Services Ms Hema Jain said,” It is pride movement for the fraternity at large and for me at personal level, because SME need our support in the areas of improvement and growth especially for sustainability because we find about 60-70 per cent of SME have mortality rate which is very high even today.

So these kind of chapters will be a great support to accelerate their (SMEs) growth and sustainability and hopped to join big numbers in Telangana”, She said. A seminar on “Accelerating Business Using Technology” also held on the occasion.

National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (NI-MSME) Director M Chandrasekhar Reddy and a large number of SME fraternity were also present on the occasion. (UNI)
