New Delhi, Sep 22: Ayurveda treatment organisation Jiva Ayurveda is organising free Swarnaprashan camps for children in all its 84 clinics across India on the auspicious date of Pushya Nakshatra on September 24.
During the camp, children between the age of 1 and 16 years will be given free drops of Swarnaprashan.
Swarnprashan is one of the 16 Vedic Sanskaras, and this involves giving the child a mixture of gold ash, honey, ghee and beneficial herbs which help in increasing the child's intelligence, memory power, immunity, strength and overall wellness, the organisation said in a statement.
Founder-Director of Jiva Ayurveda Partap Chauhan has urged all parents to bring their children to the free camp and lay the foundation of a healthy and happy life for their children. (UNI)
