Panaji, Sep 7 : A seven-member Vibrant Goa team led by Joshua Desouza, Mapusa MLA, and Vice-Chairman, Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC), has recently returned to Goa after concluding a very successful road show in Israel.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Vinay Verma, Trustee, Vibrant Goa Foundation, said the trip was an eye opener for business possibilities for all the delegates.
Verma said joint meetings were held with the Federation of Israeli Chamber of Commerce, Israel Technology Transfer Organisation, Israel – India chamber of commerce, Manufacturer’s Association of Israel amongst other networking meetings creating a robust platform for future business prospects.
Mr Verma said, “The meeting convened with the Sheba Medical Centre was one of the highlights in the field of medical sciences and technology. The advancements in the fields of preventive medicine, concepts such as hospital at home, advanced rehab, tele medicine among other innovative initiatives are truly path breaking.”
According to Verma, there was a lot of potential for medical institutions in Goa for collaborations. (UNI)
