New Delhi, Aug 8 : India's policy direction, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is focused on making energy an instrument for social change, said Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan.
The Minister on Thursday addressed the distinguished participants of the Joint Civil-Military Training Programme at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. Hon PM Shri @narendramodi’s vision for energy justice is built on four pillars- Energy Access, Energy Efficiency, Energy Sustainability and Energy Security. Our Govt. has taken several transformational reforms in the energy sector to facilitate Ease-of-Living for our citizens," the Minister tweeted.
"The success of #PMUY has been hailed by various multilateral agencies. The Indian model, particularly in making energy accessible, secure and affordable, can be emulated by many developing countries," he further posted.Mr Pradhan also discussed the road map for India to become a driving force in the global energy landscape.
"It was wonderful to take a round of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration #LBSNAA, Mussoorie. The hallowed portals of this academy has been the nurturing ground of many officers, who have contributed to nation building," the Minister stated.(UNI)
