Hyderabad, Jul 29 : Pharma major Dr Reddy’s Laborataties has posted a profit before tax of Rs 850 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2019-20.
According to the financial results released here on Monday, the profit after tax stood at Rs 663 crore.
The revenue of the company during the period was Rs 3,844 crore ,while the SG & A (Selling, General and Administrative expenses) were Rs.1,207 crore. The expenses on Research and Development was Rs 361 crore.
Commenting on the results, Dr Reddy's CEO and Co-Chairman CV Prasad said, "This quarter, we grew in most of our key markets and hope to continue this momentum with a sharper focus on performance.
We will continue our journey of operational excellence, cost leadership and innovation across our businesses, `` he said.(UNI)
