Chennai, Jun 17 : Leading ice cream brand Dairy Day on Monday launched Chilli Guava ice creams.
The new variety promises to take the people to their nostalgic journey reviving the childhood memories of sharing a slice of fresh Guava fruit sprinkled with a little chilli and salt with friends.
A company release here said chilli guava was a delicious mix of guava fruit pulp, chilli and salt.
It brings the authentic flavour of guava, in a delicious sorbet, which was just "as real as biting into fresh guava fruit".
Priced at Rs 20 for a 60 ml stick, Chilli Guava was available at over 30,000 outlets across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
MN Jaganath, Director of Dairy Day, said, “The ice cream industry is one of the most innovative verticals in the food sector."
Chilli guava adds to the company's range of such as paan twist, gajar halwa, gulab jamun among others.
Ice cream aficionados could look forward to more innovative fresh new flavours from Dairy Day, he added.
It offers more than 150 products in over 30 flavours in a variety of cups, cones, sticks, tubs and other novelties. (UNI)
