Hyderabad, June 14: The app Edelweiss Mobile Trader (EMT) has 1 million plus downloads and is one of the highest rated apps in the country, Rahul Jain, Head - Personal Wealth Advisory, Edelweiss, said on Thursday.
Talking to newsmen here, Rahul along with Mehul Jain (Tech expert) said that the Edelweiss Mobile Trader app is designed in a very user-friendly manner and is very easy to understand as compared to other apps.
Explaining the new features of the EMT, they said that a stock screener helps customer narrow down the number of available stocks by focusing on quantifiable measures. It is a tool that traders can use to filter stocks based on user-defined metrics. They allow users to select trading instruments that fit a particular profile or set of criteria.
The live news section stands out due to its ability to select only relevant headlines and present them to a customer faster than any other service. As an investor, identifying market-moving news faster than others helps them with a competitive edge.
Other very useful feature of the application is the What-If Analysis and the Do It Yourself feature. Most first-time investors or individual traders are often intimidated by the idea of using analysis tools as they find these complicated and overwhelming to understand.
Another very important feature update worth noting is that in the new version of the application, investors can not only trade, track but also view recommendations about investing in mutual funds at the instant click of a button, they said.
Speaking on business, Rahul said that the company witnessed a revenue growth of 63 per cent in FY 2018 with CAGR of 35 per cent in the last two years.Stating that the company has 5 lakh clients across the country, Rahul said 20,000 clients in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone with the growth rate of 14 per cent.
"There has also been an increase in the usage of this app by the millennials (age group 18-34), which contributes around 50 per cent to its usage. Edelweiss Mobile Trader (EMT) has now 1 million plus downloads and is one of the highest rated stock trading apps in the country," he added. (UNI)
