REC to provide Rs 1.34 cr for specially privileged children

New Delhi, May 29 : In order to provide holistic education and rehabilitation services to special children, REC Limited has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the National Association for the Blind (NAB) to provide it with financial assistance worth Rs 1.34 crores.

REC Limited is a Government of India Navratna enterprise and through its CSR arm --the REC Foundation---has supported the cause.

The agreement was signed between the REC Foundation and NAB here on May 15 by S N Srinivas, CEO, REC Foundation and Prashant Ranjan Verma, General Secretary, NAB in the presence of Shri T. S. C. Bosh, ED (CSR) and other senior officials of REC and NAB.
