Bengaluru, May 4 : Leading student housing brands Stanza Living, a tech-enabled student housing concept, aims to expand to a one lakh beds capacity by 2021 and has made a foray into Bengaluru with the launch of 5,000 beds across 27 key student hub residencies.
This include Bannerghatta, Koramangala, Yelahanka, Mathikere and Electronic City to tackle Bengaluru’s sky-rocketing enrolments from domestic and international migrant students.
Anindya Dutta, co-founder said in late December the company had laid the foundation of its operations in the city and had already scaled-up capacity. ‘’The city is poised to be one of our largest markets in India, second only to Delhi NCR,’’ he said.
Bengaluru would be contributing 15 per cent to Stanza Living’s national bed-capacity by 2021.
“Our foray into the region has been bolstered by our consumer-friendly technology interventions like the Stanza Estate App,” Sandeep Dalmia, Co-founder, Stanza Living, stated.
The brand is currently operating in Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Vadodara and Bengaluru and is backed by marquee global investors such as Sequoia Capital, Accel Partners, Matrix partners and Alteria Capital. The company plans to extend its footprint to Pune, Hyderabad, Indore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and other key educational hubs in Tier 2 and 3 cities, in the coming months. (UNI)
