Pune, Mar 31 : The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India(CREDAI),apex body of Private Real Estate Developers Associations,elected Satish Magar as its' new President.
More than 12,000 developers from 23 states and 205 cities in the country hold the membership of CREDAI.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday,Mr Magar said "He is committed to transform Indian Real Estate in light of the institutional structure defined under the Real Estate Regulatory Authority(RERA) Act."
Mr Magar,a well-known city-based businessman,stated that he has aimed to expand CREDAI's footprint to 100 more cities with a robust focus on Tier 2,3,and 4 cities.
Reiterating CREDAI's commitment towards the nation,he said that CREDAI intends to impart skill training to 1 lakh construction workers in next 2 years.
"The new team under my supervision will explore opportunities to tie-up with the statutory bodies like RERA and Welfare Boards on the Centre's schemes for skilling, up-skilling,Recognition of prior Learning(RpL).
"The customized industry partnered skilling programs will be launched to create a talent pool of skilled labor for the ever- burgeoning Indian Real Estate Industry revitalized with a new upsurge post the implementation of landmarks reforms such as RERA,GST and others,"added Mr Magar.
He informed that as part of its' holistic initiative,CREDAI also aims to plant and grow 5 lakh tree across India.
"The Real Estate sector is widely perceived to be as one of the most important sectors in India,and we at CREDAI,strongly believe that it's contribution towards building a New India will prove to be indispensable, "asserted Mr Magar.
