Kochi Tea market witnessed a marginal fall in price on Saturday. The major reason for this price fall is the impact of frost in high ranges.

So, the arrival of all tea varieties is low. Eventually, Kochi auctions continue to hit for the fourth consecutive week.

CTC dust market tended to ease by Rs1 to Rs3 and sometimes more. However, some popular marks were steady to firm and sometimes dearer.

The average price realized was also low at Rs126.41/kg compared to Rs128.15 in the previous week. Exporters were focused on low priced teas. The market for orthodox varieties barely remained steady and the quantity on offer was 11,000 kg.
