Chandigarh, Feb 7 : Even as Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., a company which manufactures Jawa Motorcycles, is fast on expanding its dealership network across the country is set to open at least 101 sales points by this March, could only be able to deliver the Motorcycles by September to those who had booked them online in Nov-Dec 2018, disclosed by Anupam Thareja, Co-Founder of the company while opening an another dealership here on Thursday.
"We have already sold out Jawa Motorcycles till September 2019 and will start making deliveries from March 2019 to the buyers whose online bookings were taken from 15th November to 25th December 2018. Thereafter, bookings are taken only at dealership end but these new buyers have to wait for deliveries of their motorcycles beyond September 2019, said Thareja, who was evasive on a question to how many booking the company has received till now.
To a question he said the response for the motorcycle is overwhelming in Northern, Southern and Western parts of the country where dealership network is being expanded aggressively and touch the 101 figure by March 2019. Thereafter, Eastern states would be focused for expansion, he added.
Present on the occasion Ashish Joshi, Chief Executive Officer told "we have announced industry-first Exchange Program for the customers willing to by Jawa motorcycle and tied up with largest number of financial companies to help them in getting finance. As the same we are committed to provide our customers with the best of the sales, service and spares ecosystem at every dealership end."
The all new born 'Jawa' and 'Jawa forty Two' come with new 293cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine nestled within a double cradle chassis and set an example of superlative handling and class leading stability. The two are priced at Rs 1.65 lakh and Rs 1.56 lakh(ex-showroom) respectively. The company has priced its Dual Channel ABS variant at Rs 1.73 lakh & Rs 1.64 lakh respectively, Informed Joshi. (UNI)
