Gurugram, Jan 31 : Private airline SpiceJet on Thursday announced the launch of eight new direct flights and frequencies connecting metros and non-metros on domestic routes effective from March 1, this year.
SpiceJet is the first Indian carrier to introduce direct flights on the Kochi-Tirupati route. The airline will also introduce a new direct flight on the Vijayawada-Tirupati route and enhanced frequencies on the Kochi-Chennai and Vijayawada-Bengaluru.
SpiceJet announced the fare starting at Rs 3334 on Kochi-Tirupati and Rs 3342 on Tirupati-Kochi routes; whereas the fare starts at Rs 2556 on Vijayawada-Tirupati and Rs 2608 on Tirupati-Vijayawada routes.
The additional frequency on Chennai-Kochi and the new flight between Kochi-Tirupati will offer travelers the convenience of same day return. (UNI)
